International Music Summit Grand Finale

Terrace Sushi Lounge Grand Reopening at Pacha Restaurante

Café Mambo Opening
Another day, another sunset – isn’t that one of the best things about living in Ibiza? Today saw the crowds converge upon iconic sunset institution Café Mambo, on San Antonio’s sunset strip, to celebrate 15 years of sunset worship in this very spot. Yes kids, the day of Café Mambo’s official 2009 opening party had arrived.
There was plenty of buzz about the terrace, with guests eager to nab the prime position sunset spot – though Miss W can tell you from years of experience there is no better seat in the house than the DJ booth…

Linda Farrow – A shady lady
So we’ve reached the end of May and thoughts are turning to the opening parties - particularly the grande dame of them all, Space. It’s the daytime outdoor car park arena that makes the Space Opening so special (Ibiza authorities, please take note!), so in our books, equally as important as what to wear is which A-list sunglasses to accessorise with.
Fortunately, to our very timely rescue comes Linda Farrow, an über-cool eyewear designer back in the ‘70s, whose label was resurrected by son Simon after he found a stash of her old shades in storage…

Aura Opening Party
The business of reading someone’s aura is definitely a little on the spooky side if you ask Miss W, however when it came to reading the mood at San Juan hotspot Aura tonight – officially throwing open its doors for the 2009 summer season – I think I could pretty much qualify as an expert (gypsy headscarf and silver bangles included!).
With a buzz in the air – not unlike that kind of buzz you feel in New York on a hot summer’s night – from the minute you walked through the door, there’s no doubt in my mind that the mood here was literally screaming P.A.R.T.Y.
