Once you’ve done the clubs, the beaches and shopped yourself silly,
what’s next up on the Ibiza holiday
agenda? Bespoke events, held in many of the island’s finest lounge bars, restaurants and intimate club settings are fast becoming the island’s next big thing – smaller scale soirees which range from weekly happenings to special one-off events, taking place in many of our favourite venues island-wide.
Whether it’s an afternoon of dancing on the sand, a sneak peak at the latest fashion collections, top secret sets from international superstar DJs or exquisitely styled art events, these parties offer an all-new way to experience the white isle in style and will be talked about as holiday highlights for years to come. Of course, the success of these kinds of underground parties often relies on the fast-moving word-of-mouth circuit on the island – thankfully we’re fortunate enough to be in the loop, and we promise to pass on the gossip as soon as it reaches our ears! For now, here’s a taste tester of events to look out for this week…

We Love… Sundays at Space Opening Party
Have you seen the latest billboards springing up all over town lately, with an illustration depicting Dalt Vila? I get a buzz just thinking about what they are advertising – the return of my all-time favourite Sunday clubbing extravaganza, We Love… Sundays at Space.
Opening at 4.30 means an early start for the normally-I’m-a-night-owl Miss W, but the chance to dance in the sun on the famous Space terrace is worth the lack of beauty sleep. Besides, it’s also why Valentino designed their oversized visor shades, right?

Apricot glut...
The botanical name for the apricot is prunus armeniaca. All botanical names are Latin, which makes no sense in this case because it was the Greeks that named them, erroneously thinking it came from Armenia. Which it didn’t. Everyone knows they come from Leeds.
I love apricots or rather I love things made with apricots. Very rarely do I come across one that is delicious just eaten raw. They are usually pasty and lacking in acidity and sugar. Consequently I make JAM.
