SATURDAY 25th OCTOBER: ´CULTURE´ Learn about Ibizan farming at Fira de Bestiar
From Friday 24th to Sunday 26th the seventh edition of the "Fira de Bestiar, Aviram i Animals de Preu" will take place at Can Caus in Santa Gertrudis, and will gather together 40 exhibitors with a wide selection of farm animals, food and handicraft products, and machinery. This year, for the first time, there will also be demonstrations of traditional Ibizan folk dances and stone slinging. Organisers expect that the fair will be visited by over 30,000 people during the weekend.

SATURDAY 25th OCTOBER: Get on down to Aura and get ´FUNKED´
Every Saturday through the winter season at Aura you can get down and dirty at their new night ´FUNKED´ hosted by Pacha´s funky room Resident DJ Vaughn. Joined by Nicc Johnson and Graham Sahara, Aura is setting the scene for some truly memorable nights of dancing and grooving to the funky tracks they lay down.
Aura´s new winter tapas menu started today and is available from 8 till late. A night not to be missed!

SUNDAY 26th OCTOBER: Back by popular demand - Cicale´s famous Sunday Roast
At the insistence of Cicale´s clientele, Michaela and Paolo are once again serving their famous English Roast every Sunday. Choose from tender beef, lamb, chicken, Fish of the Day or a delicious vegetarian dish. All dishes are served with a selection of delicious roast trimmings.
Children are kept amused by Cicale´s playground and their friendly dog Rocco. Adults can relax with a glass of wine and read the selection of English newspapers provided especially for clients. Open from 1 to 6pm, bookings are highly recommended to avoid being turned away. Be warned, check your cars throughly for stowaway dogs before leaving, Rocco will jump at the chance to see a bit of the island!

FRIDAY 31st OCTOBER: Bambuddha Halloween ´08 Closing Party
Evil returns once again as Bambuddha Grove hosts its infamous and now legendary Halloween Party. Prepare yourself for a night of horror as the Grove is transformed into a psychadelic witches wonderland where all of the ´night creatures´of Ibiza and around the world meet for one last time to close the summer season. The restaurant will be presenting a distinct selection of cuisine to celebrate the event and Bambuddha´s bars are ready to hit out its most terrifying selection of crucifying cocktails. Special guest and Resident DJ´s will also be at the ready to spin a selection of devastating techno for all of the zombies, goblins and werewolves who have just got to go and tear up the dancefloor....

SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER: Soak up the sun at Ocho for their Sunday Roast

13/10/08: Circo Loco Closing Party @ Privilege
There’s a been a bit of a sombre shadow cast over the island this week, noticeable when the words ‘DC10’ and ‘Circo Loco’ are mentioned. The two, intrinsically linked, have gone from being the absolute ethos of the Ibiza underground to summing up all that is negative in terms of changes made by The Authorities in an attempt to dampen the Ibiza party spirit.
Miss W has never really considered herself a freedom fighter, however when it comes down to it, after much careful consideration, she has decided to pledge her allegiance to the ‘Save DC10’ cause. I believe we should have the right to dance in the daytime, in the sunshine and the open air. I believe that venues should be regulated, of course, in an attempt to provide a safe environment in which to dance, however I feel by simply taking a venue away, the authorities are driving parties even further underground, into the unsafe and unregulated environments of villas, illegal sites and even apartments which are not equipped to deal with any emergency situations should one arise.
Now raise your right hand and repeat after me:
‘I pledge allegiance to the flag of Circo Loco at DC10 and to the Island of Ibiza for which it stands. One island under dance, indivisible, with Luciano and Tania for all.’
