THURSDAY 2nd OCTOBER: Tasty Thai treats and tailor-made cocktails at restaurant Bambuddha Grove
As you stroll beneath a luscious canopy of bamboo and past watchful stone statues eyes, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve just landed in Ubud, Goa or Ko Pha Ngan, not outback Ibiza. FRIDAY 3rd OCTOBER: Pure Pacha ´extra´ closing with Macy Gray, Steve Angello and Pacha residents Sarah Main & Angel Linde - don´t miss it!
One of Ibiza’s most famous clubs and an absolute institution, Pacha is the ultimate night out on this party island. As Pacha say - ´It´s all about the dance´. Indeed it is. Especially tonight at the official / extra Pure Pacha closing fiesta!
Last week Pure Pacha ´closed´ with yet another amazing line-up of DJ´s including Sander Kleinenberg, Axwell and Trevor Nelson. But why not have another? We say, do what you do best Pacha. Tonight rocking the wheels-of-steel are Pacha residents Sarah Main and Angel Linde alongside Steve Angello and an exclusive live performance by the one and only Macy Gray. It´s going to be a night of nights with performances that will be spoken about in years to come - at least until summer ´09.

SUNDAY 5th OCTOBER: Bid farewell to Space with Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, John Digweed, Groove Armada and more...
The countdown has begun towards the summer’s most spectacular and waited for party. And the clock is ticking. The only party capable of reuniting thousands of people from all around the globe at an event that has become a musical and cultural reference in the past decade.
They have gathered more than 50 DJ’s including big names such as Sasha, Digweed, Pete Tong, Groove Armada, Wally Lopez, Danny Tenaglia, David Guetta, Steve Lawler, the Matinee stars J. MONDAY 6th OCTOBER: El Ayoun closing extravaganza! Have you got your invitation?
Renowned for hosting some of the most extravagant and fabulously organised parties on the island, the stunning El Ayoun will see to it once again that a summer in Ibiza is never complete without last drinks and fun times in their exclusive restaurant and bar.

WEDNESDAY 8th OCTOBER: The 3rd annual ´Butterfly Ball´ at Hotel Es Vive - exclusive entertainment, amazing auctions and all for the disabled children of Ibiza & Formentera
Ibiza’s annual Charity Fundraiser ‘The Butterfly Ball’ takes place for it’s second consecutive year at Hotel Es Vive.
It´s organisers, Jill Canney and Elena Sanchez, have chosen the local children’s charity, APNEEF, as the cause for 2008. APNEEF is Ibiza & Formentera’s Association for Children with special needs.
Entertainment will be provided by the Chas Smash of ska band, Madness who is not only an Ibiza resident but a huge supporter of this event. Don´t miss the infamous Ball auction with huge donations from international celebrities and local businesses alike and Mr. Grasshopper´s Thai Buffet aims to please the palette again at this year’s Ball with a Cava & Cocktail to wash down a sumptuous sushi selection prepared by our Japanese chef. Following on will be a Thai menu from Es Vive’s in-house chefs before sweets and desserts. A selection of locally and organically produced wines and a decent quantity of Hierbas ibicencas, provided by Ibicenc vineyard Can Rich, should help wash down the feast.

25/09/08: 2008 Ibiza DJ Awards @ Pacha
From the minute Miss W stepped a stiletto-shod toe onto the red carpet at the pre-event cocktail party at Ocean Drive tonight, she knew this was going to be no ordinary night out to say the least.
Why? Well, firstly the reason for the gathering was to celebrate the 2008 Ibiza DJ Awards, which are voted for by the public so a very important night on the Ibiza social calendar indeed. Secondly, Miss W had caught a glimpse of That Person she had previously considered a Semi-Boyfriend up until a few weeks ago so she felt the need to flick her freshly blow-dried hair a lot as she chatted to super-hot Chilean DJ Luciano on the red carpet, acting as if he was asking her on a date (despite the fact he is happily married and we all know Miss W would NEVER be a home wrecker), not simply discussing his current predilection for dropping old school house classics on the dance floor.
Well, you can’t blame a girl for wanting to look popular in front of an ex, can you?
Anyway, back to business. After grabbing one of the delicious cocktails on offer to soothe my flustered nerves, I finally managed to relax and work my way through the room. From the Mambo family through to the Pacha crew, the German techno-lords, local media magnates and the gorgeous Italian television crews, there was no shortage of schmoozing and air kissing for at least an hour. Then it was on to the main event, moving just down the road to Pacha, where the awards ceremony would be taking place.
I must say it was quite strange to walk into Pacha and be able to actually see the floor – quite a different experience to the usual Thursday nights, but it certainly made balancing a glass of wine – which was free flowing right up until the clock struck 12 – and a delicious Japanese flavoured canapé much more of an easy task than it would be on a crowded dance floor.
With a huge stage set up in the centre of the floor, Miss W picked a prime position high above the VIP area so she could get the perfect view of the action. Starting with the always amazing Pacha dancers posturing on the stage, resplendent in white wedding-esque costumes the only thing that seemed slightly (dare I say?) un-glamorous about the night was the err, interesting alien decorations and fluoro green netting swathed about the stage.

Today, whilst using both Amsterdam & Ibiza as his bases, he, his wife and three children work and continue to travel all over the world, photographing for many of the world leading magazines and advertising agencies.
